Merchandiser for Woven Garments
Experience: 4-5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform costing for all types of woven garments independently and on the spot
  • Handle quotation, development, and production follow-up
  • Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, in-house management, space booking, and timely delivery
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure quality, production, and timely delivery of goods
  • Follow up with factories and shipping companies to ensure on-time shipments
  • Provide daily reports to management and buyers
  • Understand and follow buyer’s comments and procedures for order fulfillment
  • Monitor supplier performance and contribute to annual supplier scorecards
  • Handle MAX buyer account independently
  • Maintain relevant merchandising communication, order files, and reports
  • Coordinate with buyers, accessories suppliers, factory management, planning, and commercial teams for on-time shipment
  • Understand production planning and monitoring

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Merchandising or Textiles)
  • 4-5 years of experience in garment merchandising
  • Strong knowledge of woven garments, including denim and non-denim products
  • Experience with MAX buyers preferred
  • Proficiency in English (speaking and writing)
  • Strong computer skills and expertise in email communication
  • Age: 25 to 35 years

 

Employment Status: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing designated accounts and provide updates to management
  • Follow up on sample developments and production with high personal responsibility
  • Attend buyer meetings, negotiate, secure, and execute orders with the reporting manager
  • Handle all required submissions as per buyer’s demand (e.g., Gold, Black, Sample Fabrics, Trim)
  • Coordinate with the Production Team to ensure on-time shipments and update order status to buyers
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure the best final product
  • Oversee all aspects of quality from the initial to the final stage of production

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in designing or merchandising
  • At least 5 years of experience in the garments industry
  • Age: at least 27 years
  • Strong skills in sampling developments
  • Ability to work in DOHS Baridhara, Dhaka

 

Employment Status: Full Time
